After the season of CBS’s daytime staple, Marie Osmond has announced she is stepping away from the show, “The Talk,” to pursue other opportunities and projects, including a show that will keep her involved with ViacomCBS.
She also painted John Redmann as the vast reason she took the job, who was with her on the show for about a decade. So, she didn’t directly suggest a connection between his departure and hers.
“One of the highlights of my year at ‘The Talk’ was working with my dear friend John Redmann, and I’m excited to continue our working relationship on several projects we are developing,”
she said to Deadline in a statement.
She also cited how exciting it would be to spend time with the last two kids at home as they have entered college.
“[My husband and I] looked at each other, laughed, and remembered we hadn’t been this alone together since 1982.” “So, at this stage of my life, I’m looking forward to spending more time with him and visiting all the kids/grandkids.”
