We’d heard it was a spur of the moment thing … Offset turned to Cardi and said “marry me,” and she was down. They brought in an officiant to formally marry them, and shortly thereafter … filed for and received a marriage certificate in Fulton County, which made it legit.
Cardi B has filed for her Divorce against Offset as she is over her marriage.
The rapper had was at Georgia and the filed courts court paperwork on Tuesday and indicated that she’s seeking a dissolution in marriage. In the paperwork, Offset is listed as the defendant, and Card B is listed as the plaintiff.
TMZ got the court documents in that Cardi B is seeking legal custody as well as the primary custody for her 2-year-old baby girl, Kulture. And she is also demanding for pay child support by Offset but how much it is still unclear and their no word for spousal backing for now.
Cardi B had clearly mentioned in the papers that they have currently separated also “there are no prospects for reconciliation.”
Cardi B wants Offset to pay her legal expenses, which she had mentioned clearly mentioned in the documents.
As Cardi B had asked for “an equitable division of all marital assets,” so we can take this, it doesn’t sound like there’s a prenup.
Cardi and Offset were married secretly in 2017 by sharing their hitched status after a year. According to the report of TMZ: “their nuptials were a bit unorthodox from the jump, and almost went backwards.”
At Philly Powerhouse concert in October 2017, Offset got on bended knee, and Cardi B accepted her ring there and quickly.
Both had already been legally married for more than a month as both said in the same September “I do” in the bedroom.
