Darth Vader Actor, Dave Prowse Dies At 85

Darth Vader Actor Dave Prowse, who played the role of Darth Vader in the films of Star Wars, has died at the age of 85.

He had passed away just after a short illness, according to the reports of BBC.

Agent of Prowse released a statement that says and Confirmed: “the death of the bodybuilder turned actor.”

“Though famous for playing many monsters – for myself, and all who knew Dave and worked with him, he was a hero in our lives.”

He didn’t do the voice, yet he plays the role of Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy, the Iconic character.

The Bristolian accents were not suitable, so James Earl Jones gave voice to the character.
