The star of EastEnders who have also played a soap on the BBC, ‘Nasty’ Nicky Cotton till 2015 from 1985 have paid an amazing tribute to the legend after moments she died on 10th December, Thursday battling with Alzheimer’s Diseases.

By making an appearance on talkRADIO, he mentioned: “It’s funny, with some people you think they’re going to go on forever, don’t you? I couldn’t believe it really.”

“I knew that she’d been ill so it wasn’t like it suddenly came out of the blue, or it wasn’t a shock because I knew she was ill. I’m just getting my head round it really, it’s only just dawning on me.”

He further added: “The last time I saw Barbara was in central London where she lived with Scott and I have a really lovely memory of that.”

“I think she remembered me when I walked in as well … I went to see her probably about a year and a half ago now.”

“But then of course she’s been unwell and she has not been at home for quite a while.”
