Kate Garraway, presenter of the ITV’S ‘Good Morning Britain’ ON Thursday, 24, in the breakfast show, due to a mysterious eye injury, wore glasses. After discovering that the contact lens piece got stuck nearly before a week, she took a visit to a doctor.
And further speaking Friday’s ‘GBM,’ She Said, “A team of eye nurses was baffled, absolutely baffled. Then eventually, after having dropped, they found it was a contact lens stuck in my eye that’s been in there for about six days.”
“I felt embarrassed – I thought I had taken it out, but there was a bit still in there – just by root cause untidiness.”
The TV presenter, who is 53 years old, was having trouble reading the morning news because of the mysterious hurt.
The TV presenter said: “Let’s have a look at the front pages now, if that is, I can see them. If you haven’t noticed [the glasses] … I’ve injured my eye.”
“I don’t know what I’ve done to it, but I’m going to get it checked out today. But it means it’s all a bit of a lottery at the moment as to whether I can read anything.”
Co-hosts Ben Shephard said: “Kate I’m absolutely loving your glasses, I’ve got a bit of glasses envy.”
