Naomi Campbell has paid an emotional tribute to her grandmother, who died at the age of 77. Naomi captioned that her grandmother Ruby Louise Campbell Russell, came in the UK as the Windrush generation, but her heart always belonged to Jamaica.
At that time, about half a million immigrants came to Britain and helped the company balance its labor shortage problem. By sharing many snaps of the two of them, Naomi thanked her grandma for giving her all the sound life principles.
Naomi wrote, “Wife, Mother Grandmother, Great grandmother, you have taught us all to have strength and courage in trying times and to hold our heads up high and stay true to our integrity.”
She added, “Your principle will be in mind always when I used to do my Your chores, You stood true and loyal to the faith till your last breath. You were loved by all whenever you have traveled to other places.”
She added, “I love you more until we meet again on the other side.”
“May you take your place with the highest,”
“Rest In Peace Grandma My Ruby.”
