Archie Lyndhurst, CBBC star who is also the son of Only Fools and Horses actor Nicholas Lyndhurst, has died at the age of 19.
Archie, who was best known for playing Ollie in the CBBC comedy show So Awkward, had suffered from “a short illness” and was discovered at his family home in Fulham on 22 September. Police and ambulance services were called and Archie was declared dead at the scene.
On social media, his friends, coworkers and loved ones have been sharing touching tributes to Archie.

His best friend and fellow actor Samuel Small, said in an Instagram post: “My heart aches all day and everyday thinking about you and I just wish I could talk to you just one more time so you could know how much I loved you. I vow to make you proud with every last breath. Rest in power bro.”

He went on to say many more touching things about the young actor and ended his tribute saying: “We never know what tomorrow will bring so hug the ones you love extra tight as Archie always did.”
Archie’s mother, Lucy Lyndhurst, replied to Samuel’s post: “He will love you and watch over you forever.”

His death is treated as “unexplained but unsuspicious” and police are no longer actively investigating. An inquest into his death is said to begin sometime next week.
