Piers Morgan has said that the boycott of the Government for the Good Morning Britain of ITV has come to an end with Matt Hancock, Health Secretary’s appearance on the program.
On Monday, Mr. Hancock’s appearance will be the first since April by a government member.
Piers tweet: “BREAKING: Just had a call from Downing Street. The 201-day Government boycott of @GMB is over & Health Secretary @MattHancock will be appearing on the show tomorrow morning.”
Piers Morgan also mentioned to the viewers while watching the encounter: “the first words to Good Morning Britain from any government minister since the middle of April.”
Morgan said: “He found that intolerable, being asked difficult questions like why were you under-prepared for a pandemic.”
“So that was the last we saw of him.”
