The singer and YouTube star, HRVY, finally broke his silence about it in an Instagram video Thursday night. He assured his 4.5 million followers that he was fine, saying, “Hi guys, so, I wasn’t going to say anything, because I didn’t want to worry anybody, or be dramatic. But now the story’s out there, I have coronavirus, I’ve tested positive. All is fine, I’m isolating. I have no symptoms.”
He also shared a post on Twitter, which said, “Hi, I wasn’t going to say anything but now the story’s out, I have coronavirus, I’m all good, no symptoms, just isolating for the next 10 days. Already super bored so prepare yourselves for my Tik toks.”

Early this morning, HRVY has updated his twitter followers about his health. He also offered them a piece of advice saying: “Make sure you wear a mask, have a good day”
morning guys, just a little thought. im only 21 and in good health so it just shows that being young doesn’t make you invincible, so make sure you wear a mask please, have a good day 🖤— hrvy (@HRVY) October 2, 2020
HRVY, real name Harvey Leigh Cantwell, will have to miss out on meeting his dance partner with the other celebrities on the show on October 12.
A spokesperson from BBC confirmed last night that one of the stars had tested positive or coronavirus. They added, “We have rigorous protocols in place to manage Covid-19 as the safety of all those involved in the production is paramount.”
HRVy’s fans have flooded him with good wishes on social media, hoping he tests negative soon.
