The Last Dance ESPN – Michael Jordan, The Legendary Basketball player have donated a massive $2 Million from the profit of wildly popular documentary to Feeding America from the last year, the news was confirmed by the organisation as they said on Wednesday.

Jordan gave a statement that says: “In these challenging times and in a year of unimaginable difficulty due to COVID-19, it’s more important than ever to pause and give thanks.”

“I am proud to be donating additional proceeds from The Last Dance to Feeding America and its member food banks in the Carolinas and Chicago to help feed America’s hungry.”

Feeding America wrote a tweet, accompanying; “An incredible gift to be thankful for – NBA legend Michael Jordan is donating $2 million to help our neighbors facing hunger!”

The report from CNN said that the donation from Michael Jordan came after just weeks when the Feeding America was at a risk where 54 Million+ Americans needed it. They had a great chance to become food insecure; the number is so high that it was not even seen from a decade.

Chief operating officer of Feeding America told CNN: “What we’ve seen has been, unfortunately, a steady level of greatly, significantly increased need since the pandemic started.”
