TOM SEAVER, 75, Dead battelling CORONAVIRUS!

Tom’s wife Nancy and daughters Sarah and Anne shared: “We are heartbroken to share that our beloved husband and father have passed away.”
“We send our love out to his fans, as we mourn his loss with you.”
Tom Seaver was one of the greatest Mets players of the all-time.
He died on Monday after a battle with dementia and COVID-19. He was 75.
According to the HOF, Seaver passed away peacefully in his home ad Calistoga, California surrounded by his beloved family.
It is said that Seavers’s death was specifically caused by COVID-19 and complications from Lewy body dementia.
The legendary “Miracle Mets” of 1969 consisted of Tom Seaver, which went to win the World series over Baltimore Orioles. He played as a major from 1968 to 1986. He was a 3-time Cy Young winner and 13-time All-Star.
Seavor was inducted in Cooperstown in 1992 and ended by becoming the first ballot Hall of Famer.
The Mets also addressed for the loss of a great legend, saying;

“We are devastated to learn of the passing of Mets Legend and Baseball Hall of Famer Tom Seaver.”

“Beyond the multitude of awards, records, accolades, World Series Championship, All-Star appearances, and just overall brilliance, we will always remember Tom for his passion and devotion to his family, the game of baseball, and his vineyard.”
